In the 1700s the British ruled over the colonists. The ruling was harsh and unbearable for the colonists. tribe that helped the colonists out in this time were Paul revere, John Hancock, Ben Franklin and George Washington. What the British were doing was wrong restricting trade taxes on almost everything and the war machine abuse was terrible thats why the colonists were reassert in writing the Declaration of Independence because the taxation with representation, restriction of trade, and the military abuse that they received.
My fist reason to show the colonist were justified in writing the declaration of independence was because the taxation without representation. The low gear piece of prove to show this is the Boston Tea Party. This was when the British taxed tea and the colonists reacted by storming the Boston harbor and the throwing the tea into the ocean. This was ingenuous because it showed that if you tax us on stuff without talking to us we are going to revolt and thats what they did. When a pickle of people like to drink tea and then it gets taxed and you bring forth to pay more I would be mad to. Thats why Im agreeing with their reaction.
