The cause and effect relationship of the actions of the gods to the wellbeing of the people gnarled in Aeneas life is present in the context of the Aeneid in have IV and VII. The actions of the gods upon these women directly determine the eventual pain, fight and fury for either them or their people. In book IV Dido becomes enflamed in love with Aeneas because the actions of Venus and Juno, but also because of Aeneas. In book VII the actions of Juno make Amata and the Latins furious for war. Whenever the gods get snarly with the ordeals of Aeneas (which is always), the battle between Venus and Juno is reflected by the humans.
In book IV, the flame in the heart of Dido for Aeneas is already burning because cupid had draw up it there. Venus had sent down cupid to strike up puppy love in Dido, just in case Juno would try to elicit the Carthaginians to attack and deport Aeneas. The decision of sending cupid to strike Dido with press could have failed, if she and Aeneas had indeed wed and stayed together. However, Venus was able to change her son to leave the shores of Carthage and continue on his way to the future Rome. Venus acts of drawing Dido close to Aeneas only to have him disunite her without notice was the major factor of her eventual death.




Aeneas also had a role to play in the enflaming of Didos love with him. He told her stories of his past, which made her long for him even more. She knew that essentially they were the same, widows who were not assay to love again but fell into the arms of the obligation person. Dido originally did not intend on remarrying, but the cabal of being struck by Cupid and being wooed by Aeneas lamentable stories enflamed her love.
In book VII, the Latins and Amata become furious for war because of the proposed hymeneals between Queen Amatas daughter Lavinia and Aeneas. King Latinus had proposed the matrimony so he could retain some power when the fatal occurred and Aeneas became ruler.
