The Killers Bio

The Killers is a rock band which was formed in 2001 and originates from Nevada in the United States. The band currently consists of Mark Stoermer (back vocals, mysterious guitar), Ronnie Vannucci (percussion, drums), Dave Keuning (back vocals, guitar) and Brandon Flowers (keyboards, vocals). The formation and origin of The Killers began with the bands lead vocalist and vocalist, Brandon Flowers, in 2001. After declining to accompany his starting time band consisting of a trio recognized as the Blush response, the trio flea-bitten him. Brandon later realized that his calling was in rock medication and began the search for like minded artists. In his quest, Brandon came across Dave Keuning, ane of The Killers band members in Las Vegas. Keuning and Brandon had a lot in earthy and so began composing songs together. By the end of 2001, the pair had record a demotape. They were later joined by another pair, Norcross and Neal. lustrelessness Norcross was a local drummer, while Dell Neal was a mystifying guitarist, but these two later left the band.

The Killers band got its chassis from a fictional band named The Killers. The Killers initially performed at clubs and hotels in Las Vegas.



Due to their repertoire of songs which was expanding, the band attracted attention from local agents, scouts, giving bookers, major labels, and a representative from the Warner Bros. The Warner Bros representative introduced the band to a London based recording company, and The Killers signed to a British label in the summer of 2002 (Dozier, 2007). In June of 2004, in the US and the UK, The Killers released the song Hot Fuss, which was their debut album. The song, Somebody Told Me, was their first mavin which took the fashionista pop world by storm. The band had chart achievement singles such as; All These Things That Ive through with(p) and Mr. Brightside, which featured in the top ten best year songs in the United Kingdom.
